The Raya Festival is one of the most important festivals in Alto Alentejo. With 10 editions held in recent years, its stage has already welcomed some of the biggest names on the Portuguese music scene and around 100,000 visitors.
More than just a summer festival, this event has become a multi-generational cultural initiative, involving the whole community of Campo Maior during the days it is held.
In addition to music, the City Council of Campo Maior also promotes the active participation of the population in environmental and citizenship issues.

The Festival Outros Sons is a new bet by the Municipality of Campo Maior to bring music from other places to the community!
In 2023, Outros Sons will take place on June 16th, 17th and 18th, in several places in Campo Maior and includes 4 different concerts.

Promoted by the Municipality of Campo Maior, in collaboration with Axpress-Arte | Associação Cultural, with the support of the Alentejo Regional Directorate for Culture, and under the artistic direction of María Lama, Pés no Chão – International Dance Festival aims to bring together in Campo Maior a group of professional artists and companies to take their dance to various venues.
