Located in Largo do Barata, in the Casa do Assento, the renovated Open Museum reveals the extraordinary history of this municipality and its people, from prehistory to the present day, without forgetting the permanent connection with Spain.
Divided into various spaces and with an eminently ethnographic character, the Museu Aberto also allows the visitor to take a trip back in time to learn about the houses, professions, clothing and habits and traditions of the people of Campo Maior.
This museum has recently been enriched by the opening of the Interpretative Centre of Festas do Povo- Casa das Flores.
